Graham Atkinson 

Director and Principal Consultant

Before he established his own consulting business, Yuruga Enterprises Pty Ltd in 1986, Graham Atkinson worked extensively in Indigenous affairs throughout Victoria at community-based organisation and government levels.

Graham Atkinson has considerable experience consulting on diverse projects with communities on health, justice and economic development issues. In 2009 this included an evaluation of the Public Health Branch Indigenous Scholarships for postgraduate studies in public health and health related fields. More recently Graham has completed an evaluation of Lifeline’s domestic Violence Response Training program and worked in collaboration with FaHCSIA and the Wreck Bay Aboriginal Community Council to produce a comprehensive Baseline Community Profile through community surveying.

Graham is currently Chair of Native Title Services Victoria, Chair of Dja Dja Wurrung Clans Aboriginal Corporation and is on the Executive of the Victorian Traditional Owners Land Justice Group. Graham was also recently appointed to the board of the Indigenous Land Corporation and has been nominated for a Senior’s award in 2013.


Jenna Tellefson

Jenna has been working with Atkinson Consulting Group since August 2013. In her time with ACG she has taken on a wide range of tasks and has played a key role in the following projects: the Collaborative Action Research Project –  Aboriginal Community Organisations and Government, Reconciliation Action Plan for Native Title Services Victoria and the Healing Centre Feasibility Study for the Northern Carers’ Network SA.

Jenna has a Bachelor of Environments (Honours) degree in Human Geography from the University of Melbourne and is currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Economics, with particular interest in policy and econometrics. She completed her honours thesis investigating the challenges, barriers and implications of adopting ‘cultural flows’ into effective water policy in the Murray Darling Basin.  She has strong research and analytical skills, including report writing, literature reviews, developing consultation tools, conducting interviews, and data analysis.

Jenna also has experience as a policy officer with the Victorian Farmers Federation. In this position she regularly prepared submissions, policy documents and issued briefing papers on a diverse range of agricultural issues. She worked closely with varied stakeholders including farmers, government departments, ministers and advisors and industry bodies.
